For this year we might be going to Krems! in May 2010. We will be doing a concert at the Donau Festival. This we will confirm in the very near future.

We will go to Ethiopia for a musical excursion. Some tweets and ramblings can be expected from that next week.

Continued work on our 3rd studio album. Yes, work has commenced and we are hoping to finish in May.

Mr E work on the new Gorillaz album will not see the light of day. His contribution did not make the final cut. C'est la vie, and he ain't sorry at all. Just one of those things. The greatest song he was not on! :) Will he get interviews out of this, media coverage for NOT being on the record?

A Quiet Afternoon is now out and loud

The concert we done with Finnbogi P�tursson on A Quiet Afternooon at the Icelandairwaves Festival 2009 is now out, but only as a digital release.
The concert is edited and remastered by Curver.

The concert was rather unique, but of course, due to the fact we used unlimited amount of smoke and noise.
It is avialble at the Smekkleysa online store.

The release date is 31. december 2009 for A Quiet Afternoon!

This fragment from our Monkey Town concert on the 11 of November. Ofcourse we enjoyed it very much and especially to have Casper Electronics there in person. The room had 4 screens and Curver made visuals the night before our concert.

Weird, noisey and surreal, Ghostigital, play their first NY concert in three years, then supporting The Melvins.
Frontman Einar �rn (of The Sugacubes / KUKL / Purrkur Pillnik) is widely known for his energetic performance and annoying dadaist vocals about everyday stuff. The cats are in town because they got commissioned by Performa 09 to play the Intonarumori noise-intoners instruments and decided to ad a "normal" concert to their visit here. Confusion is the message. Ghostigital are on Ipecac Recordings.

Curver Goes Werstest

Curver is going west in Iceland and will have an exhibition or installation in this lighthouse in the month of May. The exhibition will though be for the duration of the summer. Here is more information:

"Curver Thoroddsen has reflected his own everyday life in reality performances with the help of the media.

Typical examples of his previous works are projects in which he moved into a new apartment, ate hamburgers every day or went on a diet. The real world, as it appears to most of us, acquires new meaning when transformed to the realm of art and media. Furthermore, Curver has painstakingly manipulated his own identity, asshown by his decision to eliminate his given name and adopt instead the brand name of the international plastic manufacturer �Curver�.

He will exhibit on the westernmost point of Europe, the cliffs of Bjargtangar by L�trabjarg in the West Fjords. Born in 1976, Curver will complete his postgraduate studies in SVA in New York this spring. He has been active on the music scene, in recent years as one of the possessive duo, �Ghostigital�. " As we did not know! :)

Treatment Around The Corner

Treatment is due and well deserved. We have gone through winter, without meeting. We boys actually did meet in December when we did the ATP concert in Minehead. That was now nearly 6 months ago.

We have most of our next record recorded. Hovering Hoover Skates is the first track from the new records. Remember? We do! Got even a video to it

Next step is to mix, and that we will do during the summer. We have a live recording waiting to be mastered by us, that we will do next week. More then then.

Massive boxes for massive drums

We have put our big drums into boxes and thus finalizing the new record. We never experienced such a great sound. The record will be 'awesome' and we love it.

We are indeed in the process of the new record. It has taken awhile as we do not share the same continent at the moment. We are indeed the east and west. We will next month release some more live stuff. And we will actually have a new video to 'where is my money' released very soon. Looking forward to that.
