It Is Been A Blast
The last few weeks have been a blast for Ghostigital. We have travelled by car over 6000 kilometers and flown in aeroplanes a number of miles. Maths not my strongest point. The tour with Melvins is one of the best things to happen as it was such a pleasure to do and experience.
Upon on our return to Iceland we played the Icelandairwaves festival with Steintryggur, Stilluppsteypa, Dälek and Otto Von Schirach. That was also tops for us, to conclude this spree of concerts as a duo in Iðnó. We did well I must say.
We have in lined up a couple of new things to reveil; we will have a new remix later this week by Arni+1, new video. We had the concert at iðnó recorded so we will hope that should be ready soon.
Our little competition for is still going until November 1st.
The competition has closed, the draw is being made. we will advice as soon at the powers that be inform us...

Warsaw Is Our Last Night
A very interesting location here in Brooklyn, a very lovely hall, and this is our last concert of the 20 date tour. And we don't feel miserable, we feel great and extremely grateful to Melvins and all on the tour. It has been a blast for us.
Our set is strong, Moss plays with us. Curver says we were a bit aggressive in a positive way, energy. Still sweating 3 hours after the concert. We depart to Iceland to play on Friday at Icelandairwaves festival with Dälek and Otto Von Schirach.
Last final word: Thank you to Melvins, Big Business, Kurdt, Tim, Gareth, Ricky, John, Shaun, Rai, Robbie, Patton and Greg.
We have also met great people, and got couraging words. Onwards...
We have launched this: IcelandNaturally !!! Win a trip to Iceland. Go On See This And Be On Yer Bike or just win the trip.

Hoboken Returns 14 times
Path train was our chosen way of transport over to New Jersey's Hoboken. And a brisk walk to Maxwell's where we had been before. Shaun took us along, showed us the ropes to follow.
Maxwell's stage is pleasantly small, we all got on stage, me, curver and moss. Our set was good, worked it all along and made connection within the songs to each other. Dälek turned up, good to see again.
Last concert tonight of the USA leg is in Brooklyn, who will guest and do the honours tonight and play with us. One to look forward to as the others have been.

We have launched this: IcelandNaturally !!! Win a trip to Iceland. Go On See This And Be On Yer Bike or just win the trip.

Troy and A Small Piece of Wood
The stage was high in Troy, very high, every step had to be calculated. I managed to calculate very well, nearly all the time. So it goes. No harm. Just fun.
We drove down to Manhattan after the show to prepare for the last two shows we have.

We have launched this: IcelandNaturally !!! Win a trip to Iceland. Go On See This And Be On Yer Bike or just win the trip.

Providence And Boomchaka
It was with a lot of curiosity in our mind when we entered Providence as it featured in a play we had done music do. The play was Draugalestin or Ghosttrain by Jón Atli. Providence did not disapoint us. I thought we had gone out windowshopping or shoplifting and I only found lipstick not my colour though.
Total respect to the people in Providence, they were extremely open and welcoming. A highly charged show to do. Dale from Melvis(sic) snook onstage and started drumming with us. That is the first time we have had live drummer with us. We got fired up. Thanks Dale!
Very good Friday 13th!

Nýhöfn Or What?
Hitting Toad's Place not been there in years, as if I should remember?! Well I did. And called Bragi. We got friends showing up: Peter from Casperelectronics came and lent Curver one of his Instruments which Curver used for the Concert.
Joe Lally joined the line up of the tour. He played a very good set, which we shall follow the developement of in the next few days

We have launched this: IcelandNaturally !!! Win a trip to Iceland. Go On See This And Be On Yer Bike or just win the trip.
Did We Forget Vermont?
Sitting comfortably in Northampton, I realize that no mention has been made to Vermont where we played yesterday. The town of South Burlington. Scenic drive up there and back. The concert was a lesson in Icelandic and cod and northern lights. Tim from Porn played guitar with us, it was sonic.
Northampton awaits us...
And we dddelivered promptly and accurately, with the precision of men with a mission. Added Load back into the set to work further live. Concert was full again of cod and rockabilly nightmare.

The Heart is a powerful song and here is the video.

B O S T O N IS H E R E
Strangest of hotels to arrive at after a six hour drive. Very lived in, so much I was not sure if this was my room or someone elses.
Tonight Krishna played a double necked guitar/bass with us and he fit straight in. Ofcourse we are asking more people to join, Tim from Porn will hit the stage with us anytime in the next few days.
We have done 2700 miles which is a couple or triple circles around Iceland. How big the world is.

Lankaster Through the Mountains
Set out very early from Buffalo to get to Lancaster in time. Drove through mountians or hills filled withe trees.
We got in good time to Lancaster, the drive was only sixandahalfhours. The Chameleon Club is great, old looking theatre.
Our set tonight will be 31.5 minutes long, so easy that we are not doing soundcheck.
SirE, that is me, is playing trumpet tonight with Melvins for the first time. Later...
Which is now, trumpet-ing went fine with Melvins. Our set aswell, stage monitors were none existant so we relied upon our extensive expertise to make it work! :)

Wooha In Buffalo
Fantastically looking theatre here in Buffalo, where we arrived earlier via the Niagara Falls in swimming trunks. Had a small peek at them water falls.
Autumn is setting for sure the trees here are turning different colours, typical, but there are so many of them.
Theatre tonight is rough looking, a bit cold at the moment, in the best possible way. We met Jenifer, top person, who entertained us before we entertained her. Our #1 person here, part of her best day ever.
The concert was great. We went into new diversion and hight. Ahead is a long drive to Lancaster.

Cleveland is Klífland
Escaping storm in Columbus to venture into Cleveland, where we went into the Rocknrollhalloffame. Had a walk around, and just listened to some good words from J.Strummer and P.Smith. That was inspiring.
In our soundcheck I started the new party song, Curver was not impressed. So I stopped.
The concert was good, Curver is playing guitar in some songs, and it makes it fun. We are onto Buffalo tomorrow. Onwards...

Feel Like Foreign Land
It is warm here, and we feel like it is a foreign land. The atmosphere is humid, crickets sound. This I only associate with foreign land. Foreign land vs homeland makes it a different experience. Unfamiliar with this type of weather makes this foreign and I get the feeling that I travelling, heh! And and this I realise with the 9th concert in a row ahead.
I have a thing about restrooms. Everytime I go into one I find no place to rest. Just a room full of toilets, urinals and towels. Nothing to rest in or on. Strange.
Tonight Curver met Stephen Nichols, whose only crime was he played guitar and Curver had met previously in Iceland @ the Airwaves festival.
Without further thought he was enlisted to do the guitar 10 minutes before the gig. He did well. The concert was good. We get better all the time, in inglis.

Thunder & Lightning! Frightening?
Woken up by thunder in Toledo, hit the road in rain and drove down to Cincinnatti to play at Top Cats. When we got into town, tropical weather greated us to our surprise, no rain, just heat.
We have been discussing the concerts while we drive, or edit interviews or edit songs. So we decided to lenghten the set, and add two songs tonight: StrangelyShaped and Thirsty Fly. It worked. Even though we are distributing a lot of information, the new set worked a treat for us, and had great lift off. Our 8th concert in a
row, and that is a record for me and Curver.
The concert was enjoyable, and so was Cincinnatti.

óhæó and tólídó
We left the land of tomatoes to go to the land of "o", as in Ohio. Our first here in the land of aviation we are told. Doubt that we will learn any different. Got one song Tire nearly finished in the car today.
Akron is in Ohio! Right! And we got a song called tire, cozmic? No not really.
Ghostigtal are said to be noisy, we can be at times, but not as noisy as fans. Fans can be too noisy and overwhelming much so you want to leave the room or even elevator. The fans are everywhere, and their presence with noise filling up every little bit of free space. I did go down to reception ask them if the fan in my room could be broken. They were going top check it.
Change of plan, the venue is called Headliners, it was changed a few days ago. When we came here we had a bikers meeting here: Christian Bikers or something. We might have an interesting night in front of us.
