GAH! If only I had known, I would have bought it while I was in Reykjavik, last weekend! Boo!!! I will just have to sit back and listen to my new copy of Purrkur Pillnikk's "í augum úti" double cd (fresh from the Liefur Erikson Airport terminal), until my copy comes in the mail in 2-3 business days...sigh...Life is hard, no? ;-)

I love 'In Cod We Trust'. I've been sold since Isafjordur. I'm Chris from Portland, Oregon, have talked to you both a bit, but not since last Easter. I love the feel of this album, more organic. Loved it live in Isafjordur, seriously amazing, not to blow smoke at all. Hope to see you again in the US one day! Maybe Portland, which you'd love!
Posted by: ChrisPr at March 13, 2006 9:24 AMPS - The "new religion" arrived over the weekend, and I agree with Chris. I LOVE it! It really is an album that you need to listen to as a whole, which is very rare these days with more artists and labels focusing on hit singles for the IPOD generation. Black Sand, Crackers, Good Morning, Not Clean, are all fantastic.
As I said on myspace, you need to tour soon (and come to Boston). If not, I am going to try to make it back to Reykjavik for Airwaves, this year, and hope you might play.
Ok, enough gushing on my end.
